50 issues sent and next steps
I am really happy to have managed to send 50 issues to your mails, one every week.
Honestly, I thought I was not going to make it, that I was not going to be constant with this, since writing a little, even a small paragraph a week, was already a challenge for me, not counting curating articles and products, of course.
But all this wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t for you, for reading me every week, for helping to grow this little community that I’m trying to create at a snail’s pace.
In this year I’ve been able to launch two legs of the project, the newsletter and the database of digital products focused on design, but it’s only the beginning of course.
My goal for this year is twofold:
On the one hand, I’m halfway through creating my own totally free design course, and it’s that «free» that makes it so hard to create, because it’s based solely on non-paid resources, so that you, whether you’re a junior or a mature designer, can learn any area of design without having to pay a penny.
Right now I’m compiling all the information I need, and already designing these screens and uploading it all to the platform I’m using (Webflow). Once I do this, I’m sure that even though it’s a very early version, it will bring a lot of value, because at least, I haven’t seen anything so big and so complete.
Once uploaded, for the rest of the year I will be iterating the design and adding information from these resources until I have something more mature.
And on the other hand, once the learning part is ready, I will adapt the page to a more database layout and with the information much more agile to digest, but let’s see if I have enough time to do it this year.
So guys and girls, thank you very much for joining me here, really ?
